At Oasis ABA, we use an early start Denver Model and natural environment training (NET) for early learners. Our early start program is specifically designed for young learners who have autism, fetal alcohol syndrome or other developmental delays and includes an intensive curriculum of natural environment training (NET) activities. These NET activities help develop our students’ language, communication skills, socialization skills, positional words, routines/rituals, play skills, cognitive abilities and functional life skills including toileting, self-help and meal prep – all within their natural environments including home and community settings! Using this approach also helps parents become experts in their child’s skill development so they can carryout the same routines at home which will increase a child’s skill acquisition and generalization of learning.
